Clever Dog Productions is a combination of a place to talk about my dogs, and to act
as a storefront for my photography and anything else I can come up with.

I love photography, and most often what is around when I grab my camera are the
dogs. They are patient, non-complaining subjects...most of the time. I love
photographing people also -I like to try and capture and moment and everything in
it. I'm more interested in photography for not how pretty a picture looks, but what
it conveys and how people react to it. In agility, this can apply ringside, on the start
and finish line, and sometimes while running, which are made fun by the expression
and individualism of the dog in the ring. Working dog photos are challenging to take
for the relationship: the dog, the stock, and the handler -very different from agility.
Completely predictably, I have always loved animals.  I majored in Animal Biology at
the University of Florida and will start my first year of veterinary school in the fall.
Because of this, I will be shooting mostly during the summer, and websites updates
will not happen as often during the school year. Thanks for understanding! I
started agility around 2003 with a golden retriever, Daisy, and now am interested in
learning about the working border collie.
Caper, a border collie, while the 8th dog my family has had over the years, is my
very first dog. His birthday is Valentine’s Day, 2006. He is a sweet, loyal dog, and I
could not imagine one better.

Reef, a small spitfire of a border collie, was a special birthday present from my
parents. She’s sweet, fast, enthusiastic, and fun.

You can read more about both of my dogs by clicking on “meet the dogs” at the
top of  the page.
